        "rendered": "<p>Natural Anethol Anise Essence appears as a transparent, colorless or pale yellow liquid, with a characteristic odor. It solidifies by cooling and by the action of air and light, producing polymerization and oxidation, with the formation of anisaldehyde and anisic acid. It is practically insoluble in water; soluble in 3p. of 90\u00ba alcohol, sometimes with slight opalescence. Miscible in absolute alcohol, ether, petroleum ether, chloroform and methylene chloride. The main constituents of the essences are 80-90% (v\/v) anethole, methylcavicol, anisaldehyde, traces of terpenic hydrocarbons and anisic ketones.<\/p>",
