It has application in the treatment of burns, erythema and sunburn, dermatitis, eczematous processes, pruritus and, in general, in any process where astringency and drying power are required. It serves as a protective excipient to transport numerous active ingredients. It can be prepared in several ways. In all cases, the aim is to increase the viscosity of the external phase to avoid the precipitation of calamine. The lotion contains 16% of its ingredients in solid form (zinc carbonate and zinc oxide), which remain in suspension in the lotion base. It is necessary to shake the product to reconstitute the suspension. SHAKE IT BEFORE USING.<\/p>",
