It is soluble in 0.2p. of alcohol, 0.25p. of chloroform, 0.4p. of ether, 4p. of olive oil, 0.7p. of petroleum ether and 6p. of liquid paraffin, being very soluble in glacial acetic acid and in fixed and volatile oils.
